The silicone ensures that the materials glide more smoothly during the pressing process, resulting in a clean, closed button. This significantly reduces the formation of air bubbles around the edges.

Application is very simple: The stick works similarly to a glue stick. Apply a small amount of silicone thinly to the edges of the die of your button machine. It's best to put some silicone on your finger (ideally wearing a glove) and spread it evenly. A small amount is all you need.
