Dare to fulfill your last wishes...
The Wish Car grants the last wish of seriously ill people:
See the sea one more time, cheer on your favorite team in the stadium, visit your family, see your biggest idol live in the stadium... Or just come home one last time... Fulfilling a last wish for people at the end of their lives - that is the mission of the ASB Wishes Wagon and its volunteer wish-fulfillers. The Wishes Wagon comes into play when relatives are overwhelmed, when a passenger can only be transported lying down, needs medical care, or the family simply does not feel confident about making the trip alone. The Wishes Wagon has been in operation nationwide with its almost 1,800 volunteers since 2014 and has already made more than 2,000 wishes come true.
The journey with the Wish Wagon is free for passengers and their families. The project is financed exclusively through own funds and donations.
Buttons as a reminder of a very special day
When my friend Manu first told me about her voluntary work on her absolute passion project, the Wish Wagon, I was really touched. What a beautiful, heartwarming concept! I was all the more pleased about her idea of including our buttons there. A few very beautiful motifs with the Wish Wagon slogan were quickly created. The finished fridge magnets in the 38 mm button size were very popular and so they were allowed to find their way into the Wish Wagon. At the end of their trip, the guests receive the magnet buttons as a small souvenir of a very special day. A memento of a final, fulfilled wish and of the wonderful project with many warm-hearted people who make it all possible. We very much hope that our buttons will continue to accompany the everyday life of the relatives on fridges and magnetic boards many years after this day. And that they will put a smile on their faces every now and then when they think of the beaming face of their loved ones on this day. A lovely thought...
Buttons for the Wish Wagon. A beautiful memory of an unforgettable day.
Here they are, our buttons with the various motifs for the Wish Wagon that were allowed to come along on tour. They are 38 mm buttons with a fridge magnet. We have fridge magnets for almost all button sizes: 25 mm, 32 mm, 38 mm, 50 mm, 59 mm and 68x44 mm. The only exception: 75 mm.
