Glossy vs. matte soft-touch

After printing, we laminate the paper inserts; we do not use the button foil that is usually used. This is why you benefit from a number of advantages that are noticeable in the quality of the buttons. Firstly, the annoying reflections that occur when using button foil are eliminated. This means that the motif is shown off much better - the result is a richer, more brilliant color result from every angle.

Since no foil is used, no annoying paper fluff or dust can settle under the foil. The edge of the button is wrinkle-free, as is the back, which can be sealed more neatly when using laminated paper. The laminated surface is also much more scratch-resistant than button foil. The matte, soft-touch surface is the one that is least susceptible to scratches.

Unless you request otherwise, we produce your buttons with a glossy surface as standard. The result: no annoying reflections - just a brilliant, high-quality, glossy print result. The edges of the buttons are wrinkle-free AND the surface is much more resilient than buttons made with a film. No lint under the film, no grains of paper dust - just a rich, absolutely high-quality reproduction of your desired motif! The glossy surface is the most commonly produced and also the cheapest surface for buttons. We produce most of our customer designs with a glossy finish. Nevertheless, the new surfaces are becoming increasingly popular.
Buttons with matte soft-touch surface
Not only looks good, it also feels great
If you want something "different" and really special, the matte soft-touch look is just right for you! The surface has no reflections or shine, the look is completely matte. This allows us to achieve a very beautiful, deep color. This classy-looking look practically invites you to touch the button and feel the surface. The soft-touch surface offers a very special velvety-soft experience. The surface has already been described by satisfied customers as a bit like silk or foam rubber. Just find out. We offer the soft-touch surface for an additional charge.
